Our Graduate training programme is called “high energy – creating tomorrow together” – it is challenging, it is stretching – but the rewards are there to be taken.


Each year we recruit engineering and business graduates to the programme. The closing date for applications is in July.


What do we expect from you?

  • A minimum 2:2 Honours degree is essential preferably, (but not necessarily) in an electrical, mechanical or electronics engineer discipline or a business-related subject

Postgraduate Diploma in Management

All Postgraduate recruits are eligible to join the Post Graduate Diploma in Management Programme designed jointly by NG Bailey and Loughborough University Professional and Management Development Centre in 2005 to meet the needs of newly recruited graduates, developing their management and leadership skills through a carefully structured programme accredited by one of the UK’s leading universities


Key Features

  • Accredited Postgraduate Diploma in Management – a highly practical management training programme combined with academic excellence
  • Fulfils the needs of both NG Bailey and those of a postgraduate award from a leading university.
  • Designed to be challenging whilst enhancing the management and leadership potential of young graduate managers.
  • Encourages self-development through the use of a web-based training log.
  • The Programme
  • 120 credit postgraduate programme providing a pathway to Masters programmes in Management – either MSc or MBA.

The programme includes the following modules:

All the above is delivered within the context of the NG Bailey Group.


Programme Delivery

Modules are delivered in 2-day residential sessions held either at Denton Hall (NG Bailey’s Leadership Academy near Ilkley, West Yorkshire) or at Loughborough University and are organised as:


  • Interactive, practical training sessions
  • Small group working
  • Opportunities to practice skills
  • Self-study coursework assignments.
  • Programme Management

The programme is managed by a dedicated Programme Director in conjunction with an Administrator from Loughborough University and the Head of Management Development at Denton Hall. The Programme Director also undertakes the role of personal tutor, supported by NG Bailey’s own company mentors. Assessment is work-based and continuous.
