Bailey Rail offers Advanced and Foundation Modern Apprenticeships that provide the very best craft training available within the electrical, mechanical and communications sector of the railway. The Apprenticeships combine practical skills training and college studies with valuable site experience.
There are three unique features of the craft and technical training available within the Company:
- Our own dedicated, highly-qualified training staff
- A purpose-built Engineering Academy, located in Leeds
- Structured training programmes combining college studies, practical training and railway construction site training.
Our training programmes are rated Grade 1 in the Adult Learning Inspectorate (ALI) inspections. This is the first ever to be awarded by the ALI in the construction sector.
Our craft apprentices regularly out-perform the national average in the number of exam passes and industry qualifications gained each year, and consistently win major industry-sponsored awards and prizes.
